Designed primarily for people who are blind or have low vision, a Touch Tour is an additional guided experience where participants can physically touch and explore elements of the exhibit, installation, or theatrical event they’re attending or about to attend.
Touch Tours are typically conducted by and at the discretion of the presenting organization.
Touch Tours can also provide an aural context for the event and include sonic elements such as actor, singer, or presenter introductions, musical instrument presentations, and/or specific sound effect demonstrations.
