Webinars
Short, 1- to 2-hour introductory webinars are a great way to educate interested staff across an organization about what Audio Description is and to start thinking about what is involved in providing this service.
We can also create custom webinars to meet your organization’s specific interests or needs.

Workshops and Classes
For those interested in learning how to actually do Audio Description, we offer in-person, capacity-building training workshops as well as deeper-dive, in-person classes for all Audio Description practice areas.
Students learn how to apply the critical skills as laid out in the Certified Audio Description Specialist (CAUDES) certification handbook through interactive, participatory exercises, demonstrations, and lectures.
A workshop typically runs 1- to 2-days, and focuses on one specific experience within a given practice area, e.g. live theater description, or museum exhibits.
A more in-depth class can cover many different visual experiences within a given Audio Description practice area, e.g. Media, and can run across several days to several weeks. Classes typically meet 1- to 2-times per week.
All workshops and classes require a minimum of six (6) students, to a maximum of 12.
